POR‑15 Weld‑Thru Primer is a zinc‑enriched, weldable primer specifically formulated to allow fast and reliable welding while maintaining corrosion protection. It can be applied directly over fully cured POR‑15 Rust Preventive Coating as well as all POR‑15 topcoats, making it ideal for quick refinishing and recoating during fabrication or repair work.
This advanced primer adheres exceptionally well to steel, aluminum, stainless steel, brass, and a wide range of primed or previously painted surfaces. It minimizes heat‑affected zones during welding while reducing distortion, burn‑back, and weld splatter, leaving a strong, protected surface once welding is complete.

Coverage will vary depending on surface condition, spray technique, and film thickness. Typically, one 15 oz aerosol covers approximately 2.7 m² per single coat.
