POR‑15 Engine Enamels are a superior‑quality, high‑performance coating formulated with 80% solids (pigment content) for exceptional durability and coverage. Application Instructions

• Apply only in a well‑ventilated area
• Ideal application temperature: 22 °C (70 °F)
• Acceptable range: 12–28 °C (50–80 °F)
• Mix by stirring only
• Do not shake

Thinning

• Thin only if necessary — maximum 20%
• Ratio: 1 part POR‑15 solvent to 5 parts enamel
• POR‑15 Engine Enamel can usually be brushed without thinning

Coating

• One full coat typically provides complete coverage with excellent colour depth
• If a second coat is required, wait 24 hours before applying

Drying & Cure Time

• Tack‑free: ~8 hours
• Before starting engine: Allow 4–6 days

Coverage

A single pint is typically sufficient to coat one standard automobile engine block.
