POR‑15 Top Coat is a high‑performance direct‑to‑metal coating designed to protect surfaces that are vulnerable to corrosion. Formulated for exceptional durability, it delivers long-term gloss, excellent colour retention, and outstanding weather resistance—even under harsh UV exposure.

This top coat can be applied directly to metal without the need for a primer or undercoat. When used over POR‑15 Rust Preventive Coating, the two products create a permanent, long-lasting barrier against rust and moisture.

It will not crack, chip, or peel—and provides a professional, long-lasting finish every time.

Technical Specifications

• Size: 1 Gallon (3.78L)
• Wet Film Thickness (WFT): 2–2.5 mils
• Dry Film Thickness (DFT): 1.5–2 mils
• Coverage: 23–28 m² per gallon (250–450 sq. ft.) depending on surface
• Application: Thin, even coats recommended
• Recoating Window:
  • Apply second coat after 2–4 hours (surface dry to touch but still tacky)
  • If the recoat window is missed and the surface fully cures, scuff with 320 grit before re‑applying
• Important: Applying too heavy can cause runs, sags, or off‑gassing bubbles

Application Guidance

• POR‑15 products perform best in thin coats (approx. 1.5 mil WFT per coat)
• Avoid heavy application, which may lead to curing issues
• Ensure proper surface preparation for maximum adhesion and protection
